Poland

Dates: June 9 - 25

Level: Division I

 Accelerate the AIA ministry in Warsaw, Poland by competing against high level club & professional teams and conducting player & coaches clinics.

 

Mexico

Dates: May 28 - June 17

Level: all levels

 

Accelerate the AIA & Campus ministry in Puebla, Mexico by competing against university teams and conducting player and coaches clinics.

Czech Republic

 Dates: August 11 - 23

 Level: Division 1, High Division 2

 

Participate in preseason training camp with Sparta, a women’s professional team. The AIA Czech staff have an on going relationship with this team and in past years have seen players come to Christ through this project. This team will participate with the Sparta team in preseason conditioning, on the court drills, and scrimmage against them. In the evenings we will have bible studies and hang out time with the other team. If you enjoy making new friends, staying in shape, and living life-on-life with others then this project is for you!

Israel

Dates: June

Level: DII/DIII

This summer AIA will be returning to Israel the last two weeks of June.  We will be hosting our 4th annual basketball tournament for 10-14 teams from all over Palestine.  We place two players on each of these teams and you will get a taste of what it is like to do ministry as a pro basketball player, engaging cross culturally, language and religious differences.  We will wrestle through the challenges of how to make Jesus relevant and known.  We are trying to add an element of medial missions to this years tournament to reach some of the physical needs of the people.  We will also have time for some in depth travel of the land to grow in your understanding of Jesus and His great commission for us.  We need 5+ players depending on the number of teams participating in the tournament.
